The last time I visited Stone Mountain, GA (the world's largest granite mountain) was in the eighties. I remember it being a neat place but not that exciting. Wow what a difference 20 years makes and the 1996 Olympics. Stone Mountain 2009 is like an amusement park with all types of activities for the family. The park was completely redone for the Summer Olympics as some of the water sports were conducted in the park. My brother's family (fresh from Japan) and our family spent the day in the park with the three very excited kids. We had a blast and had to leave before we visited all of the sights. Jackson was a big fan of the gondola ride to the top of the dome and Bethanee and Camila climbed a very advanced ropes course with the help of Uncle Jeff. Next time we will have to catch the paddleboat and petting zoo.
